Our experienced committee members have put together an investment package designed to use the current pitch to part finance the new facilities.

The idea is to sell 100 shares of the 7.5 acre grounds at 5000 euro a share. When the 100 shareholders are finalised a shareholder board will be elected and its members will be responsible for looking after the investment and planning its progression.

We expect that in the near future plans for the sale of the pitch will be made and the investment will be cashed in. We imagine it should be possible to at the very least regain each 5000 euro investment, and we hope that, judging by current trends of land prices around the town and the close proximity of the club grounds to the town centre, a profit will be made on each investment.

The overall development could not be more vital and beneficial to the town, by purchasing a share you become a crucial cog in the mechanism that will bring the sports tradition of Strokestown into the 21st century. It is a small price to pay, and considering that there is a good chance you will either make most or all of your money back, or make a profit while doing so makes this investment an absolute must.

It was a fantastic write-up that shows what we can achieve in our town. We already have so much to make us proud, what we need now is to bring one of the most important parts of the towns social progression, sport, up to standard.

In addition to all of this, every shareholder will be given the option of having their name added to a plaque put up in the new development to honour those whose contributions made it possible.
