Our Intermediate team had a good win over Creggs on Saturday evening in Tarmonbarry. Final score: Strokestown 1-11, Creggs 1-7. It was a tough match, with Strokestown fielding a strong team. 

Congratulations to Morgan Bierne on starting for the County in the first round of the Connacht championship last Sunday. Well done Morgan and keep up the work.

Our U-14 boys played in a Gaelic football blitz on Saturday in Ballyleague. We beat our first opponents, Castlerea. In teh following game we went down narrowly to Annaghdown and we were finally beated by eventual winners Ballintubber.

Our next game in the league is against Castlerea at 7.30pm on thursday, Parents please support.
