Our first U12 match took place in Elphin on June 1st against Elphin. We had a comprehensive win, well done lads. Training continues on Wednesday evenings. Our U-14's played their second league match on Thursday evening against Western Gaels. Weather conditions were very bad with strong wind and rain. Playing against the wind in the first half we turned over 1-1 to 3-7 in arrears. Despite a spirited fightback and totally dominating the second half we just came up short. The consession of a single major score to the Gaels proved crucial. This was a tremendous display by the team who were missing five regulars.
