The senior side maintained their win form, beating Pearses in the abbey hotel league (see fixtures and results). After a slow start Lukie's trusty left foot kept us in touch. A fantastic second half performance resulted in a win for the town.

The intermediate had revenge for last years first round championship defeat when they comfortably beat Fuerty in the Michael holland tyres league.

The first round of the intermediate league is due to go ahead next weekend, when we take on St. Dominics in Ballintubber on Sunday evening.

The minor team lost out to St. Failtheachs in the minor championship last moonday evening. The town started the stronger, but a goal sealed victory for St. Failthleachs.
