 Junior B's win Northern Final19/09/03

A fantastic performance from the Town's third team saw them defeat Boyle in the Junior B Northern Final on Sunday 15th October.

match report..

They now face the South Junior B champions in the Junior B County Final, which could result in Strokestown moving up to Junior A status, a feat which was achieved in 1999 by our second team, now at intermediate status.

However in order for History not to repest itself the Intermediates must stay safe this year in order to allow the Juniors to progress.

Town Bows out to Castlerea 21/09/03

With a less then impressive display from Strokestown and Castlerea showing why many see them as title contenders, Strokestowns search for an elusive two in a row ended last Sunday.

Town Through to Semi-Final 31/08/03

Strokestown 0-7 St. Failtheachs 1-03

In a scrappy local darby, Strokestown came out on top by only a point. Four red cards, poor refereeing and tough play from both sides made for a low scoring, poor flowing game.

Without their top scorer, Luke Dolan, the Town squeezed through into a semi-final spot.
